Getting Involved

When you have finished here, please take our survey to help us improve this website. Thank you.

At St Alban’s Church, Windy Nook we try to live out our faith in Jesus Christ in practical ways that demonstrate our loving service for our local community. We can only do that by understanding and taking to heart the gospel message.

We don’t believe that you can be a Christian just on a Sunday.

As a community we aim to support each other throughout the week.
At St Albans there a number of mid-week groups and activities that we hope will help our community grow. Some of these focus on Christian Discipleship, while others are simply about getting know each other better!

At several times during the year we get together to think about life and faith. Our relaxed and informal groups are usually held in church.

Our community garden

Each Spring-time our churchyard bursts into bloom and is fast becoming an attractive wildlife garden. We are literally planting seeds to grow our community links. Local schools, and the Scout Group have been willing helpers. Just come in and enjoy wandering around our churchyard or get more involved. There is always a need for more helping hands in a garden this size!
